I have allergies. Can I still eat your desserts?

For your protection, we do not suggest consuming our desserts if you have certain allergies. Even if a dessert does not contain nuts, there is always a risk of contact with nuts either through equiptment or air. 

Do you deliver? How much does it cost? 

Sweet Carmelina's delivers for free within a 3 mile radius. After that, delivery fees start at $.58/round trip mile.

I have dietary restrictions. How can you accommodate me?

Only some of our desserts can be altered to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please contact us for specific inquiries. 

I am on a diet. How can you help me?

All desserts can be made with a lower fat or sugar content. You can definitely have your cake and eat it, too. 

The flavor/design I want is not listed. Can you still make it?

Yes! Contact us to request your flavor or design.

What's the deal with fondant? I've heard it tastes bad.

While this may be the case for store-bought fondant, not all fondant is the same. At Sweet Carmelina's, everything is made from scratch – even fondant. This means that our fondant tastes entirely different – even better – than store-bought fondant, and adds a complimentary taste to the frosting underneath. 

What are the minimum orders for desserts?

Cupcakes: minimum order for regular size is 1 dozen. Minimum order for minis is 2 dozen.

Cookies: minimum order for decorated cookies is 1 dozen. Minimum order for drop cookies is 2 dozen. 

Petit Fours: minimum order is 1 dozen.

Where can I find nutritional information for your desserts?

Nutritional information is freely available upon request and is calculated after dessert has been ordered, so as to include the flexibility of customizable options.

How far in advance can I place my order? 

Decorated desserts require a minimum 10 day notice. Wedding cakes require a minimum 6 week notice. These desserts take time, planning and preparation to accommodate your ideal dessert. We encourage you to place your order as soon as possible. 

Can you ship your desserts?

At this time, Sweet Carmelina's does not ship desserts.  

Why are wedding cakes more expensive than party cakes? Aren't they all just cake?

Yes and no. Our wedding cakes are priced at the same price per serving as our party cakes. However, since wedding cake servings are typically smaller, they have more servings. Click here to see the serving and cutting guides.
